Day 2 in Dortmund began with and dry and sunny day, which was a made up for the terrible weather of the previous day. This time "Baby Rose" was first to run. She was as always a lot of fun in the ring, got a nice report and a "very promising 1".

Then we waited at the greyhounds ring for the start of the Pharaohs and as not the WDR, but the DWZRV came and asked us to participate with the 3 dogs in the race exhibition, all arguments became pointless.

The judge was informed and we trotted away with the dogs. After the successful presentation of the three beauties we went back in goose-trot to hall 1. After all, the dogs were warm now :-)

Turner started first and was able to convince the judge Mr. "Jean Brixhe" from Belgium immediately. Afterwards, it was Queenie’s turn, who he also favored and finally our dream team.

Johanna was much more relaxed today, which you can always immediately see in Merly’s reaction and the two got a great report, the title "Autumn Junior Winner 2013" and again became "Best of Breed".

Mr. Brixhe is the President of the Belgian greyhounds clubs and Egyptologist and told us finally that we have three beautiful breed typical representatives of the Pharaoh Hounds.

There was nothing to get for Johanna and Merly in the junior handling of the age class 2, occupied with 18 strong starters. Additionally, Merly did not find much pleasure with the judge at the main ring, causing her short but loud expression. Hence, the wonderful impression from the preliminary ring was unfortunately gone…

Nevertheless, we proudly and very tired we went on our way back home at the end of day 2 with 9 loops, a trophy and a variety of food present...
