On the first weekend in June, Killarney earned a pretty V3 with her handler Sven-Uwe Hofstaedt under Breed specialist J. Hiddes (NL). 

“Substantially breed-typical bitch, beautiful head and expression, good eyes/ ears/ bit, pretty neck, excellent body, solid back, beautiful front chest, correct tail and croup, moves with impulse”

Just a few days later went on a journey to Salzburg (AT) to start in the intermediate class for the last time and for the first time in a World Dog Show. 

We were very happy with an “excellent” under the demanding eyes of judge Karin van Klaveren (DE) under the last 8 out of 15 registered bitches. 

Killarney and her handler Sven-Uwe Hofstaedt could safe a V2 under judge D. Rütten (NL) in the intermediate class bitches at the National Exhibition in Dortmund.

Excerpt from the judge report: 

“Bitch is of excellent type, feminine head, good relation skull/ fang, good eyes, very strong neck, good chest depth, good front chest, excellent angle in the front and back, good underlining, runs light-footed with much impulse”

Early May, the road led us to the closer abroad. 

I registered Killarney for the Intermediate class in Denmark. 

In a very strong class we could win on Saturday under judge John Wauben (NL) a V3 and on Sunday under judge Laura Cox (IRL) a V2 with CK.

Today, I am still happy, that we didn’t freeze to death this weekend…

We had something special planned for end of March.

It was a very successful exhibition with a huge ring and wonderful weather. Killarney could safe himself the V1 Anwt. Dt. CH. VDH on both days on Rügen in the intermediate class.

On Sunday, our Rügen weekend was perfected with a BOS and her second BOB!!!

Killarney is now “State winner East 2012”.

On the first April weekend I went to one of the less exhibitions in the North – the Club ELSA in Grossenaspe.

Killarney could also safe one further point towards the German Champion VDH with a V1 Anwt. Dt. Ch. VDH & Club.

It was a wonderful day with friends – but freezing cold!

After a successful debut in the Intermediate class at the National Breed Show Kassel 2011 with  V1 Anw. Dt. Ch. VDH we continue with CACIB Show in Nürnberg.

Killarney could earn  V2 Res. Anw. Dt. Ch. VDH with our show trainer Sven-Uwe Hofstaedt (www.dogs-showtime.de) in a strong class.

In November, we dared to go further South…

We were rewarded with  V1 Anwt. Dt. Jug. CH VDH & Club and the title “Youth Winner Baden- Württemberg”

On Sunday, we are able to take a V3 before we head back North. 

We say goodbye with a V3 to the Youth class and are curious about what expects us with the „big ones“… 

We could not get the Youth Champion VDH with 2x V1 Antw. Dt. Jug. Ch VDH and 1x V2 Res. Anwt. Dt. Jug. Ch. VDH- the winner in Neumünster had all of her candidature together but was not approved by the VDH. 

We are planning the first litter with our bitch „Faizah Killarney tom Etthewide“ for Winter 2012 in the Kennel „Killarney’s Heartland“.

The puppies will all be named „Aim high“.

I have chosen the male dog „Matakima Caito“ from Tanja Reumann for the A-litter and I am very happy that she is willing to make this exciting mating happen, because it is “the first time” for both of them. 

Caito is a big red confident male dog, Caito is a big red confident male dog, me and Killarney have already known for a while.

He has inspired me at several shows and on private occasion with his calm, charming and friendly nature. Caito lives close to us with Nicole and Sven as well as her little daughter Nona and their second Rhodesian Ridgeback male dog "Matakima Rumo".

We expect healthy, red wheaten colored puppies with dark eyes from this mating, who are as strongly characterized, friendly and confident as their parents. 

We spend our weekend for the first time in the „distance“ with overnight stay.

Killarney ekes out a V very tired due to the long drive on Saturday in a very strong youth class. 

On Sunday we slept for a long and won against the same competitors the V1 Anw. Dt. Jug.Ch VDH & Club.

The first point towards the youth champion…  I almost can not believe it.
